Every part ships with full trace documentation

"Surplus" doesn't mean unknown provenance. It means the part left a production line, moved through a documented aviation supply chain, and arrived here with the paperwork intact. Our QA process ensures that chain is unbroken before anything ships to you.

🏷️
Incoming Inspection
Every incoming lot is inspected against spec: part number, condition code, shelf-life status, and documentation completeness. Lots without verifiable trace documentation are quarantined and not listed for sale.
📄
FAA 8130-3 Authorization
FAA Authorized Release Certificates (8130-3) are included or available for every shipment. We can also provide dual-release (FAA/EASA Form 1) documentation on request for European operators — no additional lead time for standard parts.
🧊
Storage & Shelf-Life Management
Shelf-life-restricted parts (sealants, materials) are tracked by manufacture date and expiry. Parts approaching expiry are quarantined before listing. Temperature and humidity-sensitive hardware is stored per manufacturer specs. Condition is graded on receipt and reflected in each listing.
🛡️
ITAR / EAR Compliance Screening
All inventory is screened for ITAR/EAR classification prior to listing. We do not carry ITAR-controlled (USML) parts in our standard catalog. EAR99 and ECCN-classified parts are clearly flagged. International orders are reviewed before processing — we contact you if export documentation is required.
🔍
Supplier Verification
We vet every supplier source before accepting inventory. Documentation requirements, quality system status, and historical traceability are reviewed for each new supplier. We don't buy parts we can't fully document.
Returns on Cert Mismatch
If the documentation you receive doesn't match what was described for your part, we accept returns within 30 days — full refund, no questions. Getting the cert package right is part of what we sell.
📋
Detailed compliance documentation — cert tracking, EASA/CoC records, export screening logs, and audit request handling — is covered on our Compliance page. If you need documentation for an FAA inspection or insurance audit, email us with your order number.

Documentation standards we work to

We don't issue airworthiness approvals — we supply parts that already have them. Every shipment references the original manufacturer's certification and the chain of custody from production to your hangar.

People who know the spec

Aerospace hardware is not a commodity business you can run without domain knowledge. Part numbers mean nothing if you don't know what the suffixes indicate, which specs superseded which, and what documentation your customer's quality system actually requires. We do.
