What We Source

APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) procurement splits into two categories: complete APU core exchange (the entire APU module swapped), and individual component sourcing (starters, generators, fuel controls, ECUs, exhaust sections).

APU core exchange is the most common path when an APU reaches its TBO or requires significant repair. Core exchange gets the aircraft back in service with minimal downtime — the old APU is returned as a core within 30 days.

Major APU Platforms

Honeywell RE100 / RE130

Gulfstream G550, G650, G500 applications. RE100 is the most common in our inventory — exchange cores and component-level parts (ECU, fuel control, starter generator) are regularly available. RE130 for G700/G800 has extended TBO and higher output ratings.

Pratt & Whitney Canada PW901

Challenger 600, 601, 602, 604 series. Also used on some Bombardier Challenger models. PW901 exchange cores are sourced through P&WC authorized facilities. Component-level parts available from the repair station network.

Rolls-Royce APS5000

Challenger 300, Global Express, Global 5000, Global 6000. APS5000 is a high-availability unit with digital FADEC control. Exchange units available through Rolls-Royce and authorized third-party MROs. ECU and generator exchange parts in our sourcing network.

APU Accessories & Consumables

Starter motors, starting clutches, oil pumps and oil coolers, air inlet door actuators, fuel pumps, scavenge pumps, coolant pumps. APU oil (Turbofan-class lubricants per Boeing BEMS 3001 or equivalent). APU starting clutch kits for scheduled overhaul.

Certification

APU cores and modules ship with 8130-3 and full historical records (TSO/TSN, time since overhaul, last run log). Component-level parts (generators, fuel controls, ECUs, starters) include 8130-3 from the issuing Part 145 facility with bench test data. EASA Form 1 available for EASA-registered operators.
