Is this the same hardware I'd get from Chief Aircraft?
Yes — same MIL-SPEC AN, MS, and NAS standards. These are certified surplus from military contracts and MRO overstock: same material, same manufacturing spec, same dimensions. The difference is the supply chain. We buy warehouse overstock, not dealer retail inventory.
What is FAA 8130-3 and why does it matter?
FAA Form 8130-3 is the Airworthiness Approval Tag that documents a part's traceability to a certified manufacturer and approved production batch. Every order from AeroSpaceSpecBolt includes 8130-3 documentation. Your A&P or IA will recognize it. Chief Aircraft also provides traceability — this part is equal between us.
Do you sell individual parts or only in bulk packs?
Individual parts only, unless you choose a kit. Chief Aircraft sells many items in multi-packs with minimum quantities (e.g., 50 or 100 washers). Our prices above are per single unit — no minimum order.
Do you ship same-day?
